Corvairs Northwest is one of the biggest and most active Corvair Clubs on the west coast, with many interesting get-togethers for our members throughout the year. If you want to learn more about your car and get some work done, our members are happy to help as well!

In addition to our monthly meetings at Billy Baroo’s Smokehouse in Tukwila and our virtual board meetings, each year we enjoy a Spring Tune-up Day where members pitch in to help each other troubleshoot and fix issues with their cars. Then in May or June one of the seven Corvair clubs in the region hosts a Corvair Econorun tour with a car show and banquet included.  In July we host our unique Orphan and Discontinued Car Show at the showgrounds of Griot’s Garage in Tacoma. Corvairs are a large part of the show of course, but any car up until the 90s that has been discontinued or whose manufacturer has shut down is welcome. You’ll see some rare stuff!

Into Fall, we still have events. On Labor Day weekend, we offer the Air-Cooled Autumn show for all air-cooled cars. November features our popular Fall Tune-up Day and potluck lunch at the home of one of our members. In December we have our Christmas Dinner Party for another day of feasting and fellowship and FUN.

There are often additional cruises or other events throughout the year as well.
